i have been suffering ES for over 5 years and dispite the overwhelming proof i have i still got sectioned under the mental health act.my health has slowly gone down hill as the nightmare just keeps getting worse. My GP and psychiatrist believe that at first i was a paranoid schizophrenic now i am just delusional.Even though i was having serious electrical problems at my house.I have asked them to do test on me but all get is a rye smile and a take your medication if i dont i risk getting sectioned again. The not understanding of the medical staff i will live with but when they refuse to look at the true facts and the evidence or even my family and friends which backs up my story i am at there mercy which means my life is well and truly destroyed both phyisicaly and mentaly. And they say i am at risk of hurting myself or possibly others when there blindness is killing me.I have no previous health issues nor do my family.I have never hurt anyone or wanted too.I am sure as hell not going to hurt myself in anyway no matter how bad or depressing this is.What can i do ?.

I suffer to but, you need to be more careful on how you approach the subject. I say that I am allergic to man made electricity. This seems to sit with people better. Everyone understands allergies because most people have them. I think more people understand me these days becuase i am passive about the subject. I also think with more exposure and more people becoming aware of their sensitivity it will aid our fight. I think there needs to be more awareness on the subject.

Have done a lot of research on this after watching the Panorama programme about the dangers of wireless internet and mobile phones. I've now worked out that i'm sensitive to 3g mobile signals when browsing the internet on my phone, wireless internet and bluetooth. There's more on my blog here: http://dooza-whatsonmymind.blogspot.com/2008/04/why-i-cant-play-my-playstation-3.html
